Bette Gebrian, Public Health
Bette has worked with Helping Haitian Children’s Founder Mary Lou Benoit Connors since 1987 when they first met through their common interest in Haiti. Mary Lou became a major contributor to the Haitian Health Foundation, leading efforts to identify necessary medications, equipment and supplies to support HHF programs. She organized several group trips of doctors and nurses, many of whom from St. Francis Hospital where she is a nurse in cardiac rehabilitation. Through these many years of collaboration Bette and Mary Lou became close friends as well as coworkers. It is with great pleasure that Bette brings her passion and commitment to the people of Haiti to helping Haitian children. Bette is a native of Bristol, CT. She married and raised her children in Haiti where she currently lives with her husband Edwin Magloire and daughter Danielle. Daughter Michelle is a senior at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, CT.
